Body Anthropology is a unique methodology devoted to the study of the Self. While Pilates and Yoga are often focused on the Musculoskeletal System, Body Anthropology is interested in the parts of us that lie behind the veil of the Musculoskeletal System.
The truth is – whether the fitness industry likes it or not; whether the western medical industry likes it or not – the Musculoskeletal System is the paper on which the Nervous System is writing its messages. Body Anthropology is a system that has developed a unique ability to understand the signals of these messages; its language; and how to respond.
Through this system, a person learns how to listen in a new way and how to study – not to the Musculoskeletal System – but to all the intertwining phenomenon that interfaces with the Musculoskeletal System. This is the beginning of developing a relationship with one’s Self.
